Prayers Are Answered

Scott and I just arrived home from our day trip to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Dr. Nick wanted a second opinion from Dr. Jakecyl on the last MRI Scott had done.
Dr. Jakecyl agrees with Dr. Nick the tumor area is stable and shows shrinkage. There is swelling in the area from radiation treatment that Scott had in '97. Dr. Jakecyl seemed to be really interested in Scott's case and told him he was an inspiration. We were told that not allot is known about Astrocytoma because it is such a slow growing tumor. When drug companies want to do studies they want to study more aggressive brain cancer to see if their drug is going to make a difference in that persons life. But, I feel brain cancer is brain cancer slow growing or not. When I fought the insurance company for Scott to receive his Arenotican I had all the studies done on brain cancer to support my facts and after reading my research they approved it. Dr. Jakecyl did say for future reference there are so many more options Scott has then he had in '97 and in '03. Again I a tribute Scott's life to Dr. Nick's research.
It is kind of scary because it amazes so many doctor's that Scott is still alive.

Praise the Lord! God has definitely been keeping Scott here on earth with us for a reason! He's such an inspiration and great friend to so many people. :)
